Wizards 114, Nets 77: John Wall had 17 points and seven assists in three quarters as host Washington routed Brooklyn to snap a five-game losing streak.

Rasual Butler had 15 points and three 3-pointers and fellow reserve Kevin Seraphin added 13 points for the Wizards, who shot 55.8 percent in the first half while building a 26-point lead. Otto Porter Jr. scored 12 points and Marcin Gortat added 11 and eight rebounds in just 17 minutes for Washington.

Brook Lopez had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Nets, who were seeking their first four-game winning streak this season. Jarrett Jack scored 11 points on 3-of-12 shooting and Brooklyn shot 33.8 percent in dropping its third game of the season wire-to-wire.

Gortat, who entered averaging eight points in his last eight games, scored nine quick points as the Wizards jumped out to a 16-4 lead just under five minutes in, and they never looked back. Washington went on a 14-0 run over a six-minute stretch in the second quarter, capped by a three-point play by Wall, to take a 49-24 lead with four minutes left in the half.

The Wizards led by 20 at the break, and after Wall highlighted a 14-5 run with a pair of 3-pointers, the lead ballooned to 80-50 with six minutes left in the third. Garrett Temple's 3-pointer gave Washington an 89-61 bulge heading to the fourth and the reserves closed out the contest for both teams.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington held a 17-0 lead in fast-break points in the first half. … Lopez scored 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting in the first half while the rest of the team shot 9-of-34. … The Nets played without F Kevin Garnett (rest) and the Wizards played without G Bradley Beal (toe).
