George Hill had a four-point play to put the Pacers on top to stay with 1:25 to go and he and Miles combined to make eight free throws in the final minute to fend off a pair of 3-pointers by Smith.

The Cavaliers started 7-of-8 from the field and opened up their game-high 13-point lead on a 3-pointer by Irving in the second quarter before settling for a 55-47 halftime advantage on Irving's buzzer-beating 3-pointer. The Pacers went nearly five minutes without a field goal in the third quarter before erupting for four in just over a minute and later pulled within 70-67 entering the final period.
