Thunder 137, Suns 134 (OT): Kevin Durant recorded a season-high 44 points to go along with 10 rebounds and seven assists in his return while Anthony Morrow converted a clutch four-point play in overtime as Oklahoma City outlasted visiting Phoenix.

Durant went 6-of-11 from 3-point range and 12-of-12 from the foul line after missing the previous six games with an ankle sprain for the Thunder, who finished 44-of-49 from the free-throw line. Russell Westbrook added 20 points before he was ejected late in the second quarter after picking up his second technical foul while Serge Ibaka tallied 15 for Oklahoma City.

Eric Bledsoe collected 29 points and eight assists for the Suns, who had three players and one assistant coach assessed technical fouls. Markieff Morris scored 25 points, Goran Dragic had 21 and Marcus Morris 18 for Phoenix, which wasted a 51.1 percent performance from the field.

Reggie Jackson kept his nerve at the foul line to put the Thunder in front 128-126 and Markieff Morris scored at the rim to even the score with 34 seconds left in regulation before Bledsoe and Morrow both missed potential game-winning shots. Morrow converted a four-point play to put Oklahoma City on top 134-130 and Durant sank two free throws to stretch the lead to six and the Thunder could only breathe a sigh of relief when Marcus Morris' potential game-winning triple missed the mark.

P.J. Tucker hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Dragic connected from beyond the arc to put Phoenix ahead 61-57 before Oklahoma City scored the last five points of the second quarter to take a 64-62 edge into intermission. Durant drained a 3-pointer to put the Thunder ahead 115-108 before Marcus Morris knocked down a jumper to even the score at 123 with 2:45 remaining in regulation.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Thunder have won 13 of the last 15 meetings with the Suns. … Oklahoma City won the battle of the boards 50-39, including a 19-7 advantage on the offensive glass. … Phoenix C Alex Len was assessed a flagrant 1 foul after mixing it up with Westbrook late in the second quarter.
