Spurs 95, Pelicans 93 (OT): Manu Ginobili scored seven of his 26 points in overtime - including the go-ahead basket with 20 seconds left - to lift short-handed San Antonio past visiting New Orleans.

Tim Duncan added 16 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots, including the miraculous game-tying tip shot to force the extra session for the Spurs. Marco Belinelli tallied 10 points for San Antonio, which was missing Tony Parker (hamstring) and Kawhi Leonard (hand) once again.

Anthony Davis collected 21 points, 12 rebounds and four steals for the Pelicans, who went 17-of-20 from the foul line. Ryan Anderson scored 18 points and grabbed 11 boards off the bench while Tyreke Evans chipped in with 15 points for New Orleans.

Duncan evened the score at 82 before Davis slammed home Evans' miss for what looked like the game-winning basket with 0.7 seconds remaining until Duncan was credited with the tying basket when New Orleans' Omer Asik tipped in the inbound pass just before the buzzer sounded to send the game into overtime. New Orleans led 89-84 before Ginobili replied with five straight points to even the score at 91 and he finished at the rim to make it 94-93 and hand San Antonio its first overtime win in five tries in December.

Ginobili drilled three straight 3-pointers to put the Spurs ahead by seven and they held the Pelicans to 27.5 percent shooting in the first half to take a 38-28 lead into intermission. Patty Mills nailed a jumper as San Antonio maintained a double-digit advantage at 62-52 before Jimmer Fredette scored the last eight points of the third quarter to trim the deficit to two.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Spurs went 6-of-24 from 3-point range while the Pelicans finished 8-of-28. … Duncan moved into a fifth-place tie with Karl Malone with 814 career double-doubles… New Orleans SF John Salmons missed his second straight game for personal reasons.
