Warriors 114, Celtics 111: Klay Thompson followed up his 52-point effort with 31 on 11-of-19 shooting as Golden State held off visiting Boston.

Stephen Curry hit a season-high nine free throws en route to 22 points and added 11 assists for the Warriors, who pushed their franchise-record streak to 19 straight home wins. Draymond Green added 14 points and nine assists while Andrew Bogut collected 13 points and 13 boards for Golden State.

Jared Sullinger had 26 points and nine rebounds to lead the Celtics, who dropped to 2-2 on their six-game road trip. Evan Turner had 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while Tyler Zeller and Avery Bradley scored 15 points apiece for Boston.

Sullinger ended a field-goal drought of over four minutes with a jumper to pull the Celtics within 103-94 with 3:15 to play. Curry hit a pair of free throws and cut back door for a layup to push the gap to 13 points, giving the Warriors enough cushion to absorb a late push by Boston.

Curry made five free throws in the final seven seconds of the second quarter to send Golden State into the break up 56-49. Andre Iguodala’s 3-pointer on the final possession of the third quarter spread the lead to 89-77, and Marreese Speights opened the fourth with a basket to give the Warriors a 14-point edge.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Warriors had their NBA-record streak of 11 straight home wins by at least 13 points come to an end. … Celtics F Gerald Wallace, who had made two field goals previously this season, went 3-of-3 from the floor in 12 minutes off the bench. … Thompson has scored 30 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
