Magic 102, Hornets 94: Nikola Vucevic collected 22 points and 11 rebounds and Tobias Harris added 21 points as Orlando held off Charlotte to snap a three-game road losing streak.

Victor Oladipo scored 13 points and Elfrid Payton had 11 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for the Magic, who won for the third time in 10 games. Evan Fournier scored 12 points and fellow reserve Ben Gordon added 11 as Orlando improved to 2-0 against Charlotte this season.

Kemba Walker scored a career-high 42 points on 15-of-31 shooting for the Hornets, who had won three straight at home. Al Jefferson contributed 14 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.

Oladipo scored on a layup just before the buzzer to give the Magic a 52-42 halftime lead but was hit with a technical for arguing a no-call. Walker knocked down the technical free throw to start the third quarter, fed Cody Zeller for a dunk and hit a 3-pointer to pull the Hornets within six less than two minutes into the period.

Walker's 19 points in the third quarter kept the Hornets within striking distance, but a 10-2 Orlando run pushed the margin to 14 and the Magic took an 81-68 lead into the fourth. The Hornets trimmed a 15-point deficit to 97-92 on Walker's driving bucket with 41 seconds left and had a chance to get even closer after Oladipo made one of two foul shots, but Walker misfired on a 3-pointer and Vucevic hit a pair of free throws at the other end as Orlando closed it out.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Vucevic leads the NBA with 18 doubles-doubles. … Walker's 35 points in the second half are a franchise record for any half, breaking the mark of 28 held by Kelly Tripucka and Glen Rice. … Hornets SG Lance Stephenson missed his sixth consecutive game with a pelvic strain and will be sidelined for at least one more contest.
