Hawks 104, Rockets 97: Kyle Korver led a balanced attack with 22 points as Atlanta stayed hot with a win at Houston.

Paul Millsap and Al Horford scored 14 points apiece and DeMarre Carroll chipped in 13 for the Hawks, who have won 12 of their last 13. Shelvin Mack added nine points off the bench to help Atlanta survive its second straight game without leading scorer Jeff Teague, who sat with a hamstring injury.

Dwight Howard finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds while James Harden had 18 points and a career-high 14 assists for the Rockets. Jason Terry scored all of his 14 points after halftime and Patrick Beverley also chipped in 14 points for Houston, which shot 39.5 percent in losing its second straight.

Atlanta had a 17-3 run across the first and second quarters to take a 37-26 lead and utilized Horford's late jumper to take a 52-40 lead into the locker room. Howard scored twice in a 9-0 burst to begin the third quarter and Terry made consecutive 3-pointers late in the period to pull the hosts within 70-69.

Terry's third triple tied it at 85 midway through the fourth and it was still a tie game into the final two minutes before Millsap scored and Korver hit a 3 for a 95-90 lead with 1:29 left. After Terry missed on the other end, Atlanta made 9-of-10 free throws down the stretch to fend off any comeback efforts by the Rockets.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Korver made all four of his free throws and has hit 49 in a row overall. ... PG Dennis Schroder had eight points and a team-high six assists in his second straight game starting in place of Teague. ... Houston SF Corey Brewer, acquired in a trade with Minnesota on Friday, did not play.
