Thunder 96, Pistons 94: Kevin Durant scored 28 points as visiting Oklahoma City sent Detroit to its 12th straight loss.

Russell Westbrook registered 22 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists to help the Thunder win for the fourth time in five games following a 3-12 start. Serge Ibaka had 13 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in Oklahoma City's fifth consecutive win in Detroit.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led five Pistons in double figures with 19 points. Andre Drummond had 16 while Josh Smith and Greg Monroe chipped in 12 apiece for Detroit, which is two losses away from tying the franchise's longest losing streak.

Detroit went the first four-plus minutes of the fourth quarter without a point and fell behind 84-75 on Jeremy Lamb's 3-pointer with 8:31 to go. Drummond had a tip-in and Kyle Singler buried a 3-pointer to pull the hosts within 93-92 with 2:18 left but Durant answered with a 3-pointer and Drummond countered with an inside hoop before Smith was off on a potential game-winning 3-pointer with 1.9 seconds to go.

The Pistons led by as many as 11 in the first quarter en route to a 55-48 halftime lead and Caldwell-Pope opened the second half with a jumper to make it a nine-point bulge. Westbrook had five points to key a 9-0 run that put the Thunder up 72-69 late in the third and the visitors carried a two-point edge into the final 12 minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Oklahoma City had a 50-39 advantage on the glass and grabbed 16 on the offensive end. ... Lamb (12 points) was 2-for-4 from 3-point range and is 12-for-16 from long range over a five-game span. ... Singler finished with 10 points and two of Detroit's five steals.
