Cavaliers 109, Pacers 97: Kevin Love scored a season-high 28 points and took 10 rebounds as Cleveland pulled away from visiting Indiana in the second half to win its third straight.

Kyrie Irving added 24 points and the 6-3 point guard blocked a team-high three shots while matching his career high with 10 rebounds, one of three players in double figures on the boards for the Cavaliers. LeBron James added 19 points and seven assists and Tristan Thompson finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds for Cleveland, which moved back above .500 at 8-7.

David West, in his second game of the season, scored a team-high 14 points for the Pacers. Solomon Hill contributed 13 points, Chris Copeland had 11 and fellow reserves Luis Scola and Lavoy Allen finished with 10 points apiece for Indiana.

Love scored 22 points in the first half and Cleveland led by as many as 19 before taking a three-point lead into the break. The Cavaliers scored the first six points of the third quarter and continued to inch away.

Another 6-0 burst increased the advantage to 13 with 8:30 left in the third and Shawn Marion’s 3-pointer off an assist from James stretched it to 82-64 with three minutes still left in the third. Cleveland eventually took an 87-71 lead into the fourth and Indiana never got back within single digits.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Cavaliers have led by 18 points in the first half of each of their last four games. .. Cleveland C Anderson Varejao missed the game with a rib contusion and Thompson started in his place. … Indiana C Roy Hibbert worked out before the game but missed his fourth straight contest a sprained left ankle.
