Thunder 105, Knicks 78: Russell Westbrook returned from a hand injury to produce 32 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in 24 minutes as host Oklahoma City routed New York.

Westbrook, who was sidelined for 14 games, was 12-of-17 from the field as the Thunder improved to 5-12. Serge Ibaka scored 14 points and Steven Adams collected a career-high 13 rebounds for Oklahoma City.

New York was without Carmelo Anthony (back) for the second straight game and shot 38.7 percent from the field, including 2-of-19 from 3-point range. Amar’e Stoudemire had 20 points and nine rebounds off the bench.

The Thunder ripped off 15 consecutive points – 10 from Westbrook – to take an early 21-5 lead. Westbrook finished the first quarter with 14 points – one more than the Knicks had as a team – as Oklahoma led 30-13.

The advantage was 51-23 after a dunk by Adams with 3:21 to play in the half and the Thunder held a 59-33 lead at the break. Westbrook’s basket pushed the lead to 30 with 5:09 left in the third and Oklahoma City took an 82-50 advantage into the final stanza and cruised to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Oklahoma City dominated the boards with a 57-33 rebounding edge. … Knicks SG J.R. Smith had just two points on 1-of-9 shooting. … Thunder SG Jeremy Lamb scored 13 points and PG Reggie Jackson had 10.
