Clippers 104, Pistons 98: Jamal Crawford scored 25 points and Chris Paul had 23 as visiting Los Angeles won for the fourth time in five games.

Blake Griffin chipped in 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Clippers, who have defeated Detroit seven straight times. Los Angeles made 18-of-19 free throws and hit 6-of-12 3-pointers in the second half to take over a close contest.

D.J. Augustin led five players in double figures with 19 points to pace the Pistons, losers of six straight. Andre Drummond had 17 points and 13 rebounds while both Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Josh Smith chipped in 17 points.

Crawford had seven points and an assist in a 9-2 run that made it 83-75 with seven minutes left and the advantage reached double digits for the first time at 93-82 on Crawford's layup with 4:35 to go. A 3-pointer by Spencer Dinwiddie kicked off Detroit's 9-0 burst that made it a two-point game, but Griffin answered with a bucket before Paul and Crawford hit triples to open it back up to double digits inside the two-minute mark.

Drummond had 10 points and six rebounds in the first quarter alone to help Detroit take a 27-25 lead and Augustin's layup in the closing seconds of the second gave the Pistons a three-point edge at halftime. Paul scored 14 in the third quarter, including a jumper with seven seconds left to slice the deficit to 73-72.
