Spurs 99, Nets 87:
Tony Parker scored 22 points and Kawhi Leonard added 21 and nine rebounds as San Antonio easily dispatched visiting Brooklyn.

Danny Green added 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Tim Duncan grabbed 10 rebounds for the Spurs, who have won four straight. Boris Diaw and Aron Baynes scored 10 points apiece as San Antonio shot 51.9 percent from the floor.

Deron Williams had 24 points and seven assists to lead the Nets, who have dropped six of their last seven. Mirza Teletovic buried four 3-pointers en route to 22 points and Joe Johnson scored 12 for Brooklyn.

Both teams were enduring the second night of a back-to-back but the Nets were the ones that looked tired in the first half, shooting 34.1 percent from the field and falling behind by as many as 18 points before going into the break down 51-36. Teletovic got hot in the third quarter with 14 points, but the Spurs did not give up any ground and carried a 79-64 cushion into the final stanza.

Johnson’s floater with 5:47 left drew Brooklyn within 85-77, but Green responded with a 3-pointer and hit a jumper with 3:29 left that pushed it back to 94-79. Leonard’s three-point play spread the gap to 97-81 before San Antonio pulled the last of its starters.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Nets have failed to reach 100 points in five of their last six games. … San Antonio went 10 straight games without shooting 50 percent from the field before going over the mark in back-to-back contests. … The Spurs have taken seven of the last eight in the series.
