Trail Blazers 105, Bulls 87: Damian Lillard had 21 points and nine assists and LaMarcus Aldridge had 16 points and nine rebounds as Portland rolled past visiting Chicago for its sixth consecutive contest.

Robin Lopez and Wesley Matthews scored 12 points apiece as the Trail Blazers improved to 8-1 at home. Chris Kaman added 10 points off the bench.

Nikola Mirotic had career highs of 24 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls, who were without point guard Derrick Rose (hamstring) and forward Pau Gasol (calf). Aaron Brooks added 12 points for Chicago, which lost back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Portland rolled off 14 straight points early in the first quarter and held an 18-3 lead. The Bulls worked their way back to within four points with 7:20 to go in the half but the Trail Blazers soon ripped off 14 straight and took a 59-39 lead on Allen Crabbe’s basket with 1:54 left in the half.

The score was 61-43 at the half and Lillard’s 3-pointer pushed Portland’s lead to 26 with 3:31 left in the third quarter. The Trail Blazers led 89-65 entering the fourth quarter and led comfortably the entire period.
