Clippers 110, Heat 93: Chris Paul collected 26 points and 12 assists as visiting Los Angeles jumped out fast and coasted past Miami.

Blake Griffin added 26 points and seven rebounds while DeAndre Jordan had 12 and 11 for the Clippers, who have won back-to-back games for the first time since the first two of the season. J.J. Redick chipped in 14 points for Los Angeles.

Chris Bosh recorded 28 points and seven rebounds to lead the Heat, who fell behind 39-15 at the end of the first quarter and never recovered. Luol Deng and Mario Chalmers each contributed 13 points and rookie Shabazz Napier scored a season-high 17 off the bench as Miami fell for the fourth time in five games.

The Clippers used an 18-2 run to take a 22-8 lead, highlighted by back-to-back 3-pointers from Redick and Matt Barnes, before extending it out to 34-11 on Paul’s 3-pointer with two minutes left in the first. Hedo Turkoglu’s triple was the fifth of the opening frame for Los Angeles and extended the lead out to 24 points heading to the second.

Miami managed to pull within 58-40 at the half and cut the deficit to 14 points early in the third before Griffin and Paul combined for seven points on a 10-2 run to push it back to 75-53. The two combined for the highlight of the period when Griffin raced out on the break with the ball, passed back to Paul and slowed in the lane in order to hammer home an alley-oop before the Clippers cruised their the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The 24-point gap was the biggest deficit the Heat have ever faced at home after one quarter. … Miami, which was already missing G Dwyane Wade (hamstring), lost G Norris Cole to a dislocated middle finger in the first half. … The Clippers, who improved to 2-0 on their seven-game road trip, finished with a season-high 31 assists.
