Kings 98, Clippers 92: DeMarcus Cousins racked up 34 points, 17 rebounds and five assists to power Sacramento to its first win over the Clippers in Los Angeles in more than four years.

Rudy Gay added 25 points to go with seven rebounds and six assists for the Kings, who had lost five straight and 10 of 11 to the Clippers and hadn't beaten them on the road since March 21, 2010. Former Clippers guard Darren Collison added 14 points, including a jumper in the final minute and a pair of free throws with 18 seconds left to help seal it.

Spencer Hawes scored 17 points off the bench to lead Los Angeles, while Chris Paul collected 16 points, 11 assists and four steals. Blake Griffin struggled to 17 points on 6-of-20 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds for the Clippers.

The Clippers led by as many as 10 in the second half and took a 74-70 lead into the fourth quarter but couldn't come up with enough defensive stops to pull away. Carl Landry's three-point play gave Sacramento an 83-82 lead and the Kings took the lead for good on Gay's layup with 5:50 remaining.

The teams traded spurts in the first half, as Sacramento rattled off a 15-2 run to pull out to an eight-point lead only to see the Clippers' reserves spark a 17-2 burst early in the second quarter to regain the lead. Los Angeles shot only 34 percent in the first half — including 3-of-15 from Griffin — but led 51-45 behind 13 points from Hawes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Paul suffered a sprained left foot in the final minute of the first quarter but was able to return midway through the second period. … Kings SG Ben McLemore was issued a flagrant-1 after a hard foul on Griffin during a breakaway. … Clippers SG Jamal Crawford (ribs), the team's second-leading scorer and top reserve, did not play.
