Raptors 108, Magic 95: DeMar DeRozan recorded 26 points and backcourt mate Kyle Lowry added 21 as visiting Toronto pulled away from Orlando in the fourth quarter.

Amir Johnson scored 14 points and James Johnson chipped in with 12 off the bench for the Raptors, who outscored the Magic 59-43 in the second half. Jonas Valanciunas collected 10 points and 11 rebounds while Terrence Ross scored 10 as Toronto beat Orlando for the eighth straight time.

Evan Fournier led the way with 18 points and rookie Elfrid Payton added 16 and nine assists for the Magic, who have dropped their first three games of the season. Nikola Vucevic had 15 points and 12 rebounds while Channing Frye and Tobias Harris each scored 11 for Orlando.

Fournier registered a team-high 11 points, including the last five of the first half, and Payton added 10 as Orlando edged in front 52-49 at intermission. Fournier’s three-point play put the Magic up 60-52 early in the second half before DeRozan scored nine during a 15-4 run as the Raptors started their surge.

Toronto stretched its lead to nine after three quarters, but the Magic pulled within 93-89 on Frye’s free throw with 5:04 left in the game. The lead was five before Ross drained a 3-pointer, DeRozan followed with a basket and Amir Johnson added another for 102-90 lead with 2:49 to go.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto is off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2008. … Orlando F Kyle O'Quinn (left ankle) missed his second straight game after starting the season opener. … The Raptors turned the ball over only nine times.
