Raptors 100, Nets 95:
DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points and Kyle Lowry scored 12 of his 14 in the second half as host Toronto evened its first-round Eastern Conference series at a game apiece.

Jonas Valanciunas scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Raptors, who had a 52-30 advantage on the glass to help overcome 21 turnovers. Amir Johnson produced 16 points and Patrick Patterson added 12 points and nine boards off the bench for Toronto.

Joe Johnson scored 18 points and Deron Williams had 15 to pace Brooklyn, which will host Game 3 on Friday night. Mirza Teletovic scored 14 points off the bench and Kevin Garnett contributed 13 points while Paul Pierce was held without a field goal until the closing moments and finished 2-of-11 from the floor.

Joe Johnson scored 12 in the third to put Brooklyn ahead 66-64 entering the final period but Lowry's finger roll ignited a 6-0 burst that put the Raptors up 83-78 with 4:46 left. Pierce had two three-point plays in less than three minutes to get the Nets within 92-90 with a minute to go but missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer with 24.9 ticks remaining.

DeRozan made two free throws on the other end and Amir Johnson answered Joe Johnson's basket with a dunk to put Toronto up 96-92 with 16.9 seconds left. DeRozan sandwiched four free throws around Williams' 3-pointer as the Raptors held on for their first playoff win since 2008.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto led 45-39 at halftime but Brooklyn used a 17-6 run in the third quarter to grab the two-point lead entering the fourth. ... Raptors PG Greivis Vasquez had 11 points and eight assists - including one on Amir Johnson's dunk in the final minute - off the bench. ... Toronto was 2-of-16 from 3-point range, with its starters going 0-for-9.
