Bobcats 95, Hawks 93:
Chris Douglas-Roberts hit a 10-foot shot at the buzzer as visiting Charlotte snapped an 11-game losing streak against Atlanta.

Al Jefferson had 27 points and 15 rebounds as the Bobcats remain one game behind sixth-place Washington in the Eastern Conference race. Gary Neal scored 17 points off the bench as Charlotte won for the seventh time in eight games.

Mike Scott scored 20 points for Atlanta, which rested starters Paul Millsap, Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll in its first game since clinching a playoff spot. Shelvin Mack and Lou Williams had 13 points apiece as the Hawks lost for just the second time in seven games.

Luke Ridnour scored eight points during a 14-0 burst that saw Charlotte knot the score at 84 with 6:05 remaining. After the Hawks made two free throws, Neal scored the next seven to give the Bobcats a five-point lead before Mack tallied five straight to tie it at 91 with 1:17 to play and the teams traded baskets prior to Douglas-Roberts knocking down the decisive shot.

Atlanta led 50-44 at halftime despite Jefferson having 17 points and nine rebounds for the Bobcats. The Hawks scored the final seven points of the third to take an 80-65 lead into the final quarter and the lead was 14 after two free throws by Williams with 9:33 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jefferson has posted seven straight 20-point outings and has reached the mark in 11 of the last 12 games. … Williams missed all seven of his 3-point shots after going 4-of-4 from behind the arc in Saturday’s win over Miami. … Bobcats G Kemba Walker (hamstring) returned from a two-game absence but had just five points on 1-of-9 shooting.
