Jazz 100, Pelicans 96: Derrick Favors collected 20 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as host Utah snapped a five-game losing streak.

Alec Burks scored 12 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter and Gordon Hayward also finished with 21 points for the Jazz. The pair combined to go 24-of-26 from the line for Utah, which gained a split of the four-game season series.

Anthony Morrow scored 26 points to lead New Orleans, which has lost four straight and is now 4-19 on the road against Western Conference opponents. All-Star forward Anthony Davis was limited to eight points in 23 minutes as he dealt with back spasms for the second straight game.

Hayward had a steal and two free throws to put Utah up 93-83 with 3:18 to go but a layup by Greg Stiemsma and a 3-pointer by Morrow pulled the Pelicans within 95-93 with 17.9 seconds remaining. Hayward split a pair of free throws before Darius Miller's potential game-tying 3-pointer was off and Burks and Hayward both made a pair of free throws around a Brian Roberts 3-pointer to seal it.

Miller's 3-pointer with four minutes left in the first half put New Orleans up 40-33 but it settled for a two-point halftime lead on Stiemsma's dunk in the final second. The Pelicans' advantage grew to four early in the third before Utah put together a 9-0 run to jump in front en route to a 73-65 lead entering the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Davis, who was limited to 11 minutes in a loss at Denver on Wednesday, sat out the entire third quarter before returning in the fourth. ... Roberts had 18 points and Stiemsma chipped in 10 for New Orleans. ... Hayward had three of Utah's eight steals.
