Bulls 109, Knicks 90: Joakim Noah posted his second triple-double of the season with 13 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds as Chicago dominated visiting New York.

Noah was two rebounds shy of the triple-double at the half while Jimmy Butler scored 19 points to lead the Bulls to their fourth straight win. D.J. Augustin added 23 points off the bench and Carlos Boozer scored 14 for Chicago, which committed just three turnovers.

Carmelo Anthony scored 21 points to lead the Knicks, who have dropped six straight. Amare Stoudemire and Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 14 points apiece off the bench and Tyson Chandler grabbed 22 rebounds for New York.

The Bulls raced out to a 16-1 lead just over four minutes into the game and never looked back. The lead swelled to 25-6 and was a 21-point gap at the close of the first quarter before Stoudemire helped get some offense going and the Knicks switched to a zone defense in the second to cut it to 59-48 at the break.

Mike Dunleavy’s 3-pointer with 5:24 left in the third increased Chicago’s lead to 74-56 and it never dipped to single digits as the Bulls coasted through the second half. Augustin caught fire early in the fourth and scored 21 points in the final period as Chicago ran away.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
New York G Iman Shumpert (knee) returned from a five-game absence and scored three points in 20 minutes. … The Knicks fell to 0-7 in games started before 3 p.m. ET and have lost those contests by an average of 23.3 points. … Jimmer Fredette, who was signed by Chicago on Saturday after clearing waivers, got into the game with three minutes left and knocked down his first shot.
