Bobcats 116, Pistons 98:
Kemba Walker scored 24 points and handed out a career-high 16 assists to lead host Charlotte to its second win over Detroit in as many nights.

Al Jefferson led all scorers with 29 points for the Bobcats, who defeated the Pistons 108-96 in Detroit on Tuesday and swept the season series for the first time. Josh McRoberts contributed 15 points as Charlotte snapped a nine-game losing streak in the second half of back-to-backs.

Brandon Jennings led the Pistons with 20 points while Rodney Stuckey came off the bench to score 15. Josh Smith and Will Bynum scored 14 points apiece for Detroit, which suffered its third straight loss.

A layup by Greg Monroe in the first minute of the second half pulled the Pistons within 55-49 but Jefferson scored seconds later to spark a decisive 15-1 outburst, capped by Gerald Henderson's 3-pointer that made it 70-50 midway through the third. Detroit trimmed the deficit down to nine points in the early moments of the fourth before McRoberts drained a 3-pointer to make it 89-77 with 10:24 left.

It was a 10-point margin when Walker hit two free throws and a jumper to push the advantage out to 98-84, and Charlotte pulled away from there. The Bobcats shot 51.2 percent in the back-to-back sweep while Detroit was held to 42.2 percent.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Pistons had won five straight games in Charlotte. ... Monroe was 0-for-7 as Detroit shot 6-for-26 in the first quarter. ... The Bobcats had a 49-31 advantage on the boards after getting outrebounded 52-43 in Detroit.
