Warriors 98, Jazz 87:
Stephen Curry picked up 22 points and eight assists as visiting Golden State knocked off Utah in the second of a home-and-home series.

Harrison Barnes scored 17 points off the bench and Klay Thompson added 17 for the Warriors, who took Saturday’s meeting at home 102-88. David Lee chipped in 14 points and 14 rebounds and Andrew Bogut grabbed 13 boards as Golden State won its fourth straight.

Gordon Hayward led the Jazz with 18 points and Marvin Williams had 16 off the bench. Derrick Favors was the only other starter to reach double figures with 10 points as Utah shot 39.5 percent from the field.

Hayward scored 12 points in the first quarter to keep the Jazz in the game, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers in the period as Utah stayed within 22-19. Hayward went scoreless in the second quarter while the Warriors exploded.

Curry collected 15 points and five assists in the second and Thompson knocked down a pair of 3-pointers. Curry hit 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions early in the second and found Thompson for another to make it three in a row as Golden State began to pull away.

Curry’s third 3-pointer of the quarter made it 48-33 and the Warriors cruised into the break with a 59-36 advantage. The lead swelled to 68-40 on Thompson’s 3-pointer with 9:34 left in the third before Golden State went over 6 1/2 minutes without a field goal to let Utah draw back within 13 points.

The Jazz went into the fourth quarter with a 78-65 deficit but quickly let it balloon out of control as Curry led a 12-2 run. Barnes’ 3-pointer with 5:31 left made it a 96-71 gap and the Warriors coasted to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Golden State went 12-for-22 from 3-point range, led by Curry’s 4-of-7. … The Warriors built up a 57-40 advantage on the glass. … The Jazz have dropped three straight following their lone win and have failed to reach 90 points in any of those three setbacks.
