Clippers 102, Knicks 88: Jamal Crawford scored 27 points off the bench and Chris Paul broke out for 25 as visiting Los Angeles knocked off New York.

Blake Griffin added 17 points and 12 rebounds as the Clippers won for the second time in their last six contests. Paul, who had missed 12 of 14 games with a bruised kneecap before struggling to three points in his return at Miami on Friday, went 10-of-17 from the floor and handed out seven assists.

Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 42 points and Raymond Felton added 20 for the Knicks, who have dropped two of three.

Crawford scored six points during an 11-2 run in the beginning moments of the fourth quarter that gave Los Angeles an 82-75 lead. The Clippers stretched it out to as much as 92-80 on Griffin’s jumper with 4:05 left and fought off a late rally before closing it out.

Anthony scored 13 points in the first 7:02 of the third quarter and gave New York its first lead of the second half with a 3-pointer that made it 61-60. But Crawford responded with his own 3-pointer and Los Angeles managed to take a 71-70 lead into the fourth despite 18 third-quarter points from Anthony.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Felton left the game in the third quarter with a neck injury after colliding with Lamar Odom and Amare Stoudemire. He later returned. … Clippers F Caron Butler (sore lower back) played only 12 minutes and went 1-for-2 from the field. … The Los Angeles bench outscored New York 48-15.
