Warriors 103, Hornets 96:
David Lee collected 26 points and nine rebounds while Klay Thompson scored 19 points as Golden State handed visiting New Orleans its eighth straight loss.

Jarrett Jack added 16 points and 10 assists and Carl Landry recorded 16 points and nine rebounds for the Warriors, who have won two straight and seven of eight.

Ryan Anderson scored 28 points off the bench, Greivis Vasquez had 20 and 11 assists and No. 1 pick Anthony Davis returned to the starting lineup with 15 points and 16 boards for the Hornets.

Golden State held a 12-point lead with 7:15 left when New Orleans began to make a run. Vasquez buried a 3-pointer, made a steal and drove for a layup before finding Dominic McGuire to put up seven unanswered points in less than a minute.

Lee hit a pair of free throws to move it back to a 92-85 edge, but the Hornets used another 7-0 run that was capped by Davis’ three-point play to knot it at 92-92 with 4:07 remaining.

Jack hit a pair of free throws and Stephen Curry snapped a 6:20 field-goal drought with a jumper to put the Warriors back in control. Jack and Curry finished it off at the free-throw line.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Thompson scored 14 points in the first half to help Golden State take a 59-50 lead into the break. … Lee had his seven-game double-double streak halted as he came up one rebound short. … The Hornets have two games left on their four-game road trip, with stops at two of the top three teams in the West (the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs) still to come. … Davis had come off the bench in the previous four games as the staff monitored an ankle injury. He played 38 minutes on Tuesday.
