Magic 99, Warriors 85:
J.J. Redick led a strong effort from the bench with 16 points as Orlando cooled off visiting Golden State.

Rookie Andrew Nicholson added 15 points and nine rebounds and E’Twaun Moore chipped in 15 and five assists off the bench for the Magic, who defeated the Warriors for the second time in the last 11 days.

David Lee collected 24 points and 15 rebounds and Stephen Curry scored 25 to lead Golden State, which had its five-game winning streak snapped. The Warriors will close out their seven-game road trip at Atlanta on Saturday.

After looking strong in a win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Golden State came out flat against Orlando. The Warriors shot under 30 percent in the first half and Redick buried back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a 10-2 run in the second quarter to stretch the lead to 29-16.

It was 61-43 in favor of the Magic after Moe Harkless’ layup midway through the third quarter. Golden State tried to get back into it with a quick 8-2 burst, but Moore, Arron Afflalo and Redick each hit 3-pointers during a 10-0 run that pushed it back out to 20 points.

The Warriors pulled to within 93-81 with 3:31 left in the contest but Jameer Nelson drove for layups on back-to-back possessions to put the game away. Nelson finished with 10 points and 11 assists and Nikola Vucevic recorded 12 points and 17 rebounds to lead the starters.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Golden State G Klay Thompson, who hit five 3-pointers en route to 27 points on Wednesday, slumped to nine points on 3-for-13 shooting. … The Warriors ended up shooting 37 percent from the floor. … Magic F Glen Davis (eight points) failed to reach double figures for the first time since Nov. 9.
