Hawks 95, Trail Blazers 87: Josh Smith had 19 points and 11 rebounds while Al Horford added 15 and 10 as visiting Atlanta handed Portland its fourth straight loss.

Kyle Korver scored 16 points, Jeff Teague added 13 and eight assists and Lou Williams chipped in 11 points off the bench for the Hawks, who are 1-1 on their four-game road trip.

J.J. Hickson recorded 19 points and 18 rebounds, Nicolas Batum also scored 19 points and Wesley Matthews added 17 for the Trail Blazers, who lost for just the fourth time in 14 home meetings with the Hawks.

Atlanta held an eight-point lead after three quarters and upped it to 11 early in the fourth as Williams hit a running jumper and sank 1 of 2 free throws. But Matthews scored eight points during a 10-0 run that got Portland within 78-77 and Hickson completed a three-point play with 6:05 remaining to forge an 80-80 tie.

The lead proceeded to change hands five times before Horford's hook shot with 2:08 remaining put the Hawks ahead for good at 89-87. It was the third straight Atlanta basket by Horford, who was 6-of-10 from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Portland went 0-3 on its three-game homestand. ... The Trail Blazers were just 6-for-23 from beyond the arc, with Batum sinking 3 of 8 shots. ... After going 7-of-16 from the free-throw line against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, Atlanta went 18-of-22 against Portland. ... The Hawks eclipsed the 90-point mark for the first time in four games.
