Trail Blazers 95, Rockets 85 (OT): Damian Lillard and Nicolas Batum hit clutch 3-pointers as visiting Portland powered past Houston.

Lillard reached 20 points for the third straight game and hit two 3-pointers, including the go-ahead shot in the opening minute of overtime. Batum scored 13 of his 16 points in the third quarter when Portland began creeping back in it, but hit a big 3-pointer with just under four minutes remaining.

LaMarcus Aldridge led Portland with 27 points and 11 rebounds on 13-of-29 shooting, but was a non-factor in the fourth. Instead, Wesley Matthews made his presence felt as he hit the tying 3-pointer with 59 seconds remaining to forge an 81-81 tie after regulation.

James Harden led Houston with 24 points, but made just two of his final eight shots and finished 8-of-24 overall. Jeremy Lin collected 13 points and seven assists in his home debut.

The Trail Blazers trailed by eight going into the third but went into the fourth with a one-point edge as Batum hit three 3-pointers. Houston used an 11-0 run to take a five-point lead midway through the fourth but missed seven of its final 11 shots of the period.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Rockets failed to reach 3-0 for the first time since 2008-09. ... Lillard became the second Trail Blazer to score 20 points in his first three games, joining Geoff Petrie. ... Portland came in with the league's worst opponent shooting percentage but held the Rockets to 35 percent shooting.
