SPURS 96, CLIPPERS 86: Tony Parker and Tim Duncan each had double-doubles as visiting San Antonio stormed back from a 24-point deficit to stun Los Angeles and take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Parker had 23 points and 10 assists and Duncan added 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs, who can close out the Clippers in Game 4 on Sunday night.

Rookie Kawhi Leonard had 14 points and nine rebounds and helped trigger a 24-0 third-quarter blitz as San Antonio extended its winning streak to 17 games.

Blake Griffin had 28 points and 16 rebounds for the Clippers, who led 33-11 at the end of one quarter and built its biggest lead at 40-16 in the opening three minutes of the second quarter.

The Spurs used a 14-2 run to get within striking distance, cutting the deficit to 53-43 at halftime before turning on the jets in the third quarter.

San Antonio buried the Clippers with 24 unanswered points and held them scoreless for more than eight minutes to turn a 12-point deficit into a 69-57 lead. Los Angeles scored the final two baskets to make it 69-61 entering the fourth quarter.

The Clippers closed to within eight points with just under five minutes left, but Parker nailed his first 3-pointer of the series to restore the lead to double digits.

Griffin sparked a spectacular start for the Clippers, scoring eight points in a 14-0 burst to build a 27-9 lead. Los Angeles closed the quarter with a 20-2 run.

Griffin had 20 points at the half, matching his output in Game 2, to go along with seven rebounds. Parker led the Spurs with 11 points.
