CLIPPERS 93, KINGS 85: Randy Foye scored 20 points and made free throws late as visiting Los Angeles earned a victory over Sacramento.

Chris Paul had 13 points, eight assists, five steals and five rebounds for the Clippers (33-22), who moved two games behind the idle Lakers in the Pacific Division.

Blake Griffin had 14 points and nine rebounds. Caron Butler 14 scored and Eric Bledsoe had 13 points, 11 in the first half.

Jason Thompson had 15 points and 16 rebounds for the Kings (19-36). Isaiah Thomas scored 17 and Tyreke Evans had 14 points and six assists.

The Clippers were up by 14 (44-30) in the first half but lost all of that lead by the fourth quarter. Thomas gave the Kings an 81-78 lead with 14-foot pull up with 4:11 remaining.

Three consecutive baskets by Griffin made it 84-81 Clippers. After a charge by Paul, DeMarcus Cousins drove for two.

Paul returned the favor, hitting a driving layup after a foul by Cousins to make it 86-83 Los Angeles with 1:03 to go.

Evans sank two free throws with 18 seconds left to get the Kings to 86-85. Foye then made four consecutive free throws for a 90-85 lead with 14.4 to go.

GAME NOTEBOOK
: Sacramento was without starting guard Marcus Thornton (bruised left calf) for the second consecutive game. … Kings guard John Salmons (sore right hip) missed his sixth consecutive game. … The Kings sank just one of seven 3-pointers in the first half while the Clippers made two of eight.
