Durant was perfect from the field over the final 12 minutes, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers down the stretch as the Thunder (29-7) extended their winning streak to seven games.

Russell Westbrook added 29 points and 10 assists while James Harden chipped in with 13 points in a reserve role.

Dwight Howard erupted for 33 points and nine rebounds for the Magic (23-14), who were victimized by poor outside shooting in a rough second half.

Down 86-78 with seven minutes remaining, Westbrook and Durant hit consecutive baskets to cut the Oklahoma City deficit in half. A James Harden layup closed the gap to a single point with just over four minutes remaining, and the Thunder surged ahead via a pair of Durant free throws on their next possession.

Durant followed with a dagger 3-pointer after Ryan Anderson missed a long-range shot at the other end, capping a pivotal 9-0 run that made it 93-89. He added another 3 with just over two minutes left to extend the advantage to five points, and the Thunder held on from there.
