Paul Pierce scored 19 of his 24 points in the second half as the visiting Boston Celtics stormed back from 27 points down to stun the Orlando Magic 91-83 on Thursday night.
Rookie E'Twaun Moore scored a season-high 16 points, including hitting all four 3-point attempts, as the Celtics closed the game on a 44-15 run and embarrassed the Magic for the second time in four nights.
Despite playing without starting guards Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen, the Celtics clawed back from a 68-47 deficit with just over five minutes left in the third quarter.
Pierce scored seven points and Moore drilled a pair of 3-pointers as Boston opened the fourth quarter with a 15-1 run to go ahead for good at 79-76 with just over 7 1/2 minutes to play.
Dwight Howard had 16 points and 16 rebounds for the Magic, who were held to only two field goals in the final 12 minutes after after being limited to a franchise-worst point total in an 87-56 loss at Boston on Monday night.
Orlando bolted to a 32-16 first-quarter lead behind a combined 22 points from Ryan Anderson and Jason Richardson.
The Magic extended the margin to 52-25 en route to a 58-37 halftime lead, surpassing their point total from Monday's loss by the intermission.
