Steve Nash led the way with 28 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds as the Phoenix Suns outlasted the Sacramento Kings 103-89 on Friday.

Hakim Warrick added 18 points off the bench and Jason Richardson finished with 14 for the Suns, who pulled back to .500 at 4-4.

Phoenix held a 77-68 edge after closing the third quarter on a 5-0 run but watched that lead shrink early in the fourth. The Kings jumped out with seven straight points, cutting it to 77-75 when Samuel Dalembert sank a free throw with 8:27 remaining.

But the Suns picked it back up as Channing Frye snapped the drought with a 3-pointer and Nash and Warrick combined for 10 points over the next three minutes to push the lead back to double digits.

Josh Childress added five points in the final 2:36 to help Phoenix close it out.

Tyreke Evans could not quite match his point guard counterpart but still finished with 18 points and nine assists while Carl Landry added 20 points for Sacramento.
